Impact areas Component strategy for electrical and mechanical assemblies aligned to reliability and lifecycle objectives.Selection and qualification of ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors, and diverse electronic parts.Continuity of supply: mitigate obsolescence and shortages through multi-sourcing, alternates, and well-defined substitution plans.Documentation excellence: produce Vendor Identification Drawings, Source Control Drawings, and Altered Item Drawings.Cost stewardship: create accurate project cost analysis forecasts to guide decisions.Verification rigor: execute thorough testing of products, supporting software, and test infrastructure.Program execution: meet schedule and budget commitments. What you will handle Design, development, and ongoing support of Digital and RF products from a component perspective.Evaluation and qualification plans that demonstrate components meet product-level requirements.Research into termination styles, plastic encapsulations, and component construction for robust decision making.Supplier collaboration, alternate source identification, and qualification strategy creation.Technical and regulatory documentation completion to applicable standards.Cross-functional communication that keeps engineering, operations, and vendors aligned. Minimum qualifications Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent combined education and experience.5 years of professional experience.Demonstrated knowledge of electrical component parameters and packaging.Demonstrated knowledge of high reliability military component standards and specifications. Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
