Press Brake Operator
Responsibilities
This is a Swing Shift Position: Hours are 3:00pm-11:30pm
Primary
- Accurpress press brake set up and operation.
Secondary
- Hardware Insertion
- Basic Mill/Drill Press Operation
Qualifications
- Operator capable of performing skilled work in set up and operation of an Acurpress press brake used to form sheet metal to precision tolerances.
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings or fabrication prints as needed for accurate and safe brake operation.
- Must understand and calculate bend deduction allowances as required to properly and safely set up brake.
- Applicant must be able to follow work order directions and safely produce required quantity of parts efficiently and within the required tolerance and cosmetic quality.
- Must understand how to fill out and use simple SPC reports as directed.
- Must perform light level daily maintenance on brake.
- Experience with PEM insertion a plus
- Experience running a manual mill / drill press a plus.
