Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Waltham, MA

Rate: $45–$50/hr W2 Max

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong medical device industry experience to support the design, development, testing, and improvement of medical device products and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and medical devices.
• Create and review CAD models, drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Perform design analysis, testing, and verification/validation.
• Support design changes, troubleshooting, and product improvements.
• Work with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Ensure designs meet quality, regulatory, and medical device requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical and engineering documentation.

Required Skills:

• 8 years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
• Strong Medical Device industry experience.
• Mechanical design and product development.
• CAD/3D modeling and engineering drawings.
• Design verification & validation.
• Engineering documentation and troubleshooting.
• Cross-functional collaboration.
• Must provide recent client/manager references.
