Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior / Enterprise Architect specializing in PTC Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to lead enterprise-scale PLM architecture, implementation, integration, cloud migration, and modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Windchill solution architecture, enterprise infrastructure, data migration, and PLM transformation programs. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, engineering teams, IT leadership, and implementation partners to develop scalable, secure, and high-performing PLM solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise PLM architecture using the PTC Windchill platform.
• Lead Windchill solution design, implementation, customization, integration, and modernization initiatives.
• Develop cloud architecture and migration strategies using AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Design and manage PLM integrations with ERP systems, enterprise applications, and external platforms.
• Lead PLM data migration projects, including ETL processes, data validation, transformation, and cutover planning.
• Establish architecture standards, reusable design patterns, technical governance, and implementation roadmaps.
• Assess system performance, scalability, availability, security, capacity, and disaster recovery requirements.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into practical architecture solutions.
• Prepare architecture blueprints, solution design documents, technical specifications, implementation estimates, and risk assessments.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to cross-functional engineering and implementation teams.

Required Technical Skills

1. PTC Windchill PLM

• Extensive experience with Windchill PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink, BOM management, document management, change management, workflows, lifecycles, classification, and access control.
• Windchill implementation, solutioning, consulting, customization, and enterprise architecture.
• PLM transformation, modernization, and cloud migration.

2. Enterprise and Infrastructure Architecture

• Enterprise architecture, solution architecture, infrastructure design, and technical governance.
• Cloud architecture using AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Security architecture, capacity planning, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, monitoring, and automated deployments.

3. Windchill Integration Architecture

• Integration with SAP, Oracle, and other enterprise applications.
• REST APIs, SOAP services, Boomi, MuleSoft, ThingWorx, and API management.
• Identity management, Single Sign-On (SSO), LDAP, and Active Directory.

4. Engineering and Development

• Java/J2EE, Windchill customization, Info*Engine, SQL, and database technologies.
• Oracle or PostgreSQL, Apache, and Tomcat.

5. Data Migration and Modernization

• Experience leading enterprise PLM data migration initiatives.
• Full ETL lifecycle: extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and migration cutover planning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12 years of overall IT experience.
• 8 years of hands-on Windchill implementation experience.
• 5 years in solution architecture or enterprise architecture roles.
• Proven experience delivering global PLM transformation or modernization programs.
• Strong communication, analytical, consulting, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Certifications

• PTC Windchill certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
• PTC Windchill System Administration certification.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• TOGAF, SAFe Architect, PMP, or equivalent certifications.
