Notes:
- Run structural analyses team
- They are a 100% onsite team
- The team works in collaborative environment
- The team works closely with design team to come up solutions
- WD himself is a structural analyst and has worked in product development since them
- The group takes care of design control for coolants – structural iron surrounding those packs or device in electric power setting
- They use metal components mostly; they build Finite Element Analysis models (mathematical abstraction of a physical object) to predict life of a component and report what they find to customers and design parters
- Often receive test data to see how components are performing
- They update and change their standard of work pretty frequently
- They also work on the parts like pumps that connect with engine (job is to keep the devices in the box working safely)
- Should be able to apply math and solve problems
- Tools – CAD, Creo, ABAQUS and Hypermesh is a big Plus, Data analysis toolkit
- There is no upper limit on years of experience the candidate must have
