Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled professional to perform production assembly, system analysis, instrument testing, and performance optimization. The role involves troubleshooting (electrical, mechanical, or software), analyzing test results, identifying defects, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Build, integrate, and assemble instruments in production
Perform functional and release testing on moderately complex instruments
Troubleshoot and analyze test results to determine pass/fail outcomes
Optimize system performance (precision movement, light systems, etc.)
Identify defects and recommend design or process improvements
Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and work instructions
Provide training and mentorship to associates
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing
Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
AA degree in Mechatronics or related field, or 5 years’ troubleshooting experience
Strong skills in assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of mechanical tools (torque drivers, gauges, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and dimensions
Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Leadership, coaching, and mentoring ability
Proficiency with PCs (Windows environment)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
