Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support ongoing production and sustainment of PCB assemblies for a client located in the greater Baltimore area. This is an onsite role requiring a strong blend of design and manufacturing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sustaining engineering support for PCB boards currently in production
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to circuit board performance and manufacturability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design improvements and production efficiency
- Manage the transfer of PCB designs from development to manufacturing/assembly
- Ensure compliance with regulated industry standards and quality requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience in a regulated environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, defense, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong experience in circuit board (PCB) design
- Proficiency with Altium Designer tools
- Experience with PCB assembly processes and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting high-volume production environments
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Familiarity with documentation and compliance requirements in regulated industries
