$30.00 - $32.00 per hour (W-2)

This position has a good-faith hourly pay range of $30.00 to $32.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, work location, and other job-related considerations, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support engineering and design projects within semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other advanced manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will develop accurate, code-compliant electrical design documentation using AutoCAD and Revit MEP while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality project solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs and drafting documentation for semiconductor manufacturing, data center, and advanced manufacturing facility projects.
• Develop electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication system layouts and drawings.
• Create and maintain 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Produce design documentation, construction drawings, and electronic project files in accordance with project standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and project alignment.
• Apply applicable electrical codes, standards, and project specifications throughout the design process.
• Revise drawings based on engineering reviews, client feedback, and project requirements.
• Maintain organized project documentation and support design quality initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical Design, Drafting, or a related technical field preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of professional electrical design experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience using Revit MEP.
• Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience designing electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable electrical design standards.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting semiconductor industry projects.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Revit proficiency may be evaluated as part of the hiring process.

Work Requirements

• Ability to work on-site at one of the designated project locations in Moon Township, PA; Portland, OR; or Tempe, AZ.
• Ability to work standard business hours, with additional hours as needed to support project schedules.
• Ability to review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to use standard office equipment and computer-aided design software for extended periods.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the assignment without employer sponsorship unless otherwise stated by the employer.
• Successful completion of any required background screening, employment verification, or site-specific onboarding requirements may be required, where permitted by law.
