Summary
We are seeking an experienced Controls/Automation Engineer to design, program, and validate automated equipment. The ideal candidate has strong Rockwell Automation skills, hands-on vision system experience, and a solid understanding of IQ/OQ/PQ processes in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, debug, and troubleshoot Rockwell PLCs (ControlLogix/CompactLogix, Studio 5000).
- Integrate and configure machine vision systems (Cognex or Keyence).
- Implement and tune Rockwell motion control systems (Kinetix drives).
- Develop and execute IQ/OQ/PQ protocols for equipment qualification.
- Support commissioning, FAT/SAT, and equipment deployment.
- Prepare schematics, test plans, and technical documentation.
- Partner with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of experience in controls/automation engineering.
- Strong proficiency with Rockwell PLC programming (Studio 5000).
- Experience with Cognex or Keyence vision systems.
- Hands-on experience with Rockwell motion control.
- Working knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ validation processes.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
