We’re looking for a Lead AI Engineer who can combine deep AI expertise with strong software engineering skills to lead the development of next-generation AI-powered products. This is a high-impact role where you’ll help shape the company’s AI strategy, architect intelligent systems, and mentor a growing engineering team.

Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of AI-powered applications and intelligent automation systems.
- Architect and implement solutions leveraging LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), NLP, and agentic AI workflows.
- Build scalable backend services and AI infrastructure using Python and Go.
- Develop and optimize AI pipelines, orchestration layers, and model evaluation frameworks.
- Deploy and manage AI systems within AWS cloud environments.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions.
- Mentor and support junior AI and software engineers, providing technical leadership, guidance, and code reviews.
- Drive AI best practices across experimentation, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to integrate them into the platform.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Lead AI Engineer, Senior AI Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Go.
- Hands-on experience building systems with LLMs, RAG pipelines, NLP, and AI agentic workflows.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and deploying AI systems into production.
- Experience designing scalable AI architectures and backend systems.
- Previous experience managing or mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong understanding of machine learning systems, APIs, distributed systems, and software engineering best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
It’s a Bonus If You Have:
- Experience working within fintech, SaaS, or startup environments.
- Exposure to vector databases, embeddings, and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience building AI-powered automation tools or internal AI platforms.
- Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
