Summary:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Additive Manufacturing (AM) Project Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you’ll estimate and quote projects, coordinate schedules, and ensure seamless communication between customers and operations to deliver high-quality additive manufacturing (3D printing) solutions on time and on budget.
What You’ll Do:
- Estimate and quote new business opportunities to help grow our AM/RP operations.
- Manage customer projects from initial quote to delivery, ensuring timelines and expectations are met.
- Collaborate with customers to clarify project requirements and recommend design-for-manufacturing (DFM) improvements.
- Use CRM and ERP systems to manage quotes, work orders, and customer communications.
- Coordinate production scheduling with the AM/RP team to optimize machine utilization and meet deadlines.
- Evaluate customer files for manufacturability and data integrity.
- Maintain logs, reports, and records to track project, sales, and equipment performance.
- Support the transition of AM/RP jobs into Injection Molding (IM) as needed.
- Communicate positively and professionally across all levels of the organization.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or business background preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills — in person, over the phone, and in writing.
- Solid math and analytical abilities; comfortable working with quotes, pricing, and data.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of 3D printing, additive manufacturing, or related production processes is a plus.
