Overview:
As a Receiving Material Handler Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and distributing warehouse inventory. Your role is vital in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and accurately managing inventory. Your efforts help ensure that customer orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately, supporting the company’s reputation for excellence.

Required Skills:

• Ability to lift and move warehouse inventory safely
• Experience operating warehouse equipment and light vehicles
• Strong attention to detail for correctly identifying and recording materials
• Knowledge of safety procedures and performing safety inspections
• Ability to work efficiently within outlined process standards

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or material handling
• Basic familiarity with delivery vehicle operation
• Forklift certification or related equipment operation skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

Other Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older for eligibility with 1,000 hours of service in the past year for 401(k) participation
• Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting, breaking down materials, and light delivery duties if needed
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to company safety procedures

• IL Paid Leave for All Workers

An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act.  The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment.  An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment.  Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave

• 401(k) with company match for eligible employees.

Eligibility:  Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age.  Entry dates into the 401(k) are:  1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.
The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution.  As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
