Garden Center Associate $16/hr

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Garden Center Associate to start IMMEDIATELY at $16/hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Job Summary

The Garden Center Associate supports daily operations at a large nursery by assisting with product handling, merchandising, and general upkeep of the facility. This role ensures products are well-organized, attractively displayed, and the nursery remains clean, safe, and welcoming to customers.

Responsibilities:

· Move, load, unload, and stage plants, soil, pottery, and other nursery products

· Set up, maintain, and restock product displays throughout the nursery

· Water plants and assist with basic plant care as directed

· Sweep, clean, and organize work areas, aisles, and outdoor spaces

· Help customers by directing them to products or alerting sales staff as needed

· Maintain a safe work environment by following proper lifting and safety procedures

· Perform other general labor and support tasks as assigned

Location: Overland Parks, KS

Schedule/Shift Details

Qualifications:

· Ability to perform physical work in an indoor and outdoor environment

· Comfortable lifting, carrying, and moving products (often 25–50 lbs.)

· Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

· Willingness to work in various weather conditions

· Prior garden center, landscaping, retail, or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

· Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting

· Work performed outdoors and in greenhouse conditions

· Exposure to dirt, water, plants, and seasonal temperatures
