Sanitation Supervisor - Food Manufacturing
Make an Impact on Food Safety & Operational Excellence
We’re looking for a hands-on Sanitation Supervisor to lead and elevate sanitation programs in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is key to ensuring product safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the plant.
Shift: Fri-Mon 4am-2:30pm
Pay Rate: $65,000
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily sanitation operations across production, packaging, and storage areas
- Partner with Quality and Operations to manage environmental monitoring (ATP, swabbing, water testing)
- Train and develop teams on sanitation best practices and food safety standards
- Drive continuous improvement in sanitation processes and efficiency
- Own sanitation documentation, metrics, and reporting to leadership
- Manage pest control programs with external vendors
- Support FDA, third-party, and customer audits
What You Bring
- Experience food manufacturing experience (sanitation, QA, or operations)
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GFSI, and food safety systems
- Experience in wet sanitation environments and chemical handling
- Strong understanding of sanitation processes (CIP/COP, pasteurization a plus)
- Familiarity with FDA regulations (acidified foods preferred)
- Detail-oriented with solid documentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; sanitation software experience a plus
Preferred
- Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
- Experience with Kosher sanitation standards
