Manufacturing Process Engineer
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 DOE

Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join a growing production operation. This is a highly visible role that combines engineering, customer interaction, manufacturing support, and project execution. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable working in a CAD environment, collaborating with customers, generating quotes, and spending time on the production floor supporting operations.
This position offers an approximate 50/50 split between office-based engineering responsibilities and hands-on involvement within the manufacturing environment.
- Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and modify products, components, and manufacturing solutions using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Review customer requirements, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate manufacturing solutions.
- Prepare customer quotes, estimates, and project proposals.
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and efficiently executed.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Provide hands-on support in the shop to troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership, production personnel, and customers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards.
- Qualifications3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related role.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Experience creating manufacturing quotes, estimates, and cost evaluations.
- Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of building materials, fabricated products, engineered components, or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, factory, production, or assembly environment.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required; equivalent technical and manufacturing experience will be considered.
- Preferred BackgroundSmall-to-medium manufacturing operation experience.
- Production management or supervisory experience.
- Continuous improvement and process optimization experience.
- Experience supporting custom manufacturing projects from concept through production.
- Background in building products, construction-related manufacturing, appliance manufacturing, industrial products, or similar industries.
