Company Description Integrity Rebar Fabricators is a rebar fabricator working with public works installers primarily on large-scale transportation and water projects.
Role Description The Shop Foreman/Shift Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Perris, CA. This position will oversee daily shop and yard operations, including organizing work areas, coordinating material handling, and ensuring equipment and tools are available and in safe working order. They assign and monitor tasks for crew members, provide guidance and training, and ensure work is performed according to project plans, quality standards, and safety procedures. The roles involve coordinating with field teams, reviewing daily schedules, and adjusting staffing or priorities as needed to meet deadlines. Shop Foreman/ Shift Lead will also help troubleshoot issues in fabrication or placement preparation, maintain accurate records of work completed, and support a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- Supervisory skills, including leading crews, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance in a shop or construction environment.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation or coordination, such as forklifts, cranes, loaders, or similar machinery used in material handling.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members, management, and project stakeholders, and for giving clear instructions and feedback.
- Basic carpentry or related trade skills useful in fabrication, formwork, or shop support tasks.
- Maintenance abilities for basic troubleshooting and upkeep of tools, equipment, and shop facilities.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and commitment to enforcing safety standards and PPE requirements
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings, bar lists, or work orders is preferred.
- Reliable transportation to Perris, CA; ability to work full-time with possible overtime as project demands require.
- Previous experience in rebar, concrete, or structural steel environments is a plus.
- Experience with multiple overhead cranes ranging from 5-ton to 10-ton and 15-ton forklifts.
- Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
