Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team, providing support in the client's home. This position requires compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to assist with various tasks related to patient care. This shift is starting out on Wednesday mornings for approximately 2 -3 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities such as grooming, dressing, and bathing
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for residents
- Lift and move residents as needed, adhering to proper lifting techniques
- Supervision of daily tasks
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and respect resident rights
- Participate in care plan to enhance residents' quality of life
Skills:
- Experience in senior care or related field is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Knowledge of patient care practices and procedures
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
