Position Overview:
If you bring high character, ambition, and hands-on experience with both stucco systems and roofing repairs, we'd like to hear from you. The Service Department performs a wide range of exterior construction and repair services, with a strong emphasis on stucco repair, patching, restoration, and roofing repairs, along with siding repairs, dry rot remediation, framing repairs, window and door installation, fence work, decks and railings, drywall, investigative openings, siding inspections, and consultations.
Role & Responsibilities:
Travel & Project Execution
- Travel to attend job sites and stay out of town as needed
- Adhere to project schedules and allotted budgets set by your supervisor
- Complete basic site documentation, reports, and forms
Stucco & Roofing Repairs
- Perform stucco repairs including patching, blending, texture matching, and finish work
- Perform roofing repairs including leak repairs, flashing replacement, shingle/tile repairs, and general roof maintenance
- Conduct roof inspections and identify repair needs
- Safely access roofs using ladders and other approved equipment
Exterior Construction & Repair
- Perform siding repairs, dry rot remediation, and framing repairs
- Install windows and doors
- Complete fence, deck, and railing repairs
- Conduct investigative openings and exterior repairs as needed
Equipment & Tool Operation
- Safely and efficiently use various power tools and construction equipment
- Operate machinery, including forklifts and other jobsite equipment
- Use pressure washers for exterior cleaning and maintenance
- Obtain and maintain basic hand tools and a means to transport them between job sites
Safety & Quality Standards
- Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are followed at all times
- Set up and safely use 40-ft ladders when required
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite, including debris removal
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
Customer Service & Teamwork
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and coworkers
- Present yourself professionally with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
- Treat customers with courtesy and professionalism at all times
- Work collaboratively with coworkers and supervisors
Training & Development
- Willingness to cross-train others and be cross-trained in multiple trades
- Participate in training meetings as required, including product knowledge and procedural training
- Continuously develop skills related to stucco, roofing, and exterior building systems
Education/qualifications:
- 5 years of related construction experience required
- Demonstrated hands-on stucco repair experience required
- Demonstrated hands-on roofing repair experience required
- Extensive knowledge of stucco systems, roofing systems, and exterior building envelope repairs
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active Florida driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Must pass a drug test
