Industrial Glass Handling Technician

Opportunity Snapshot

• Location: Butler, PA
• Compensation: $16.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime available)
• Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire via Integrative Staffing Group (ISG)

What You’ll Do

• Safely load/unload delivery trucks and organize incoming/outgoing materials.
• Transport large glass panes within the plant using proper handling methods.
• Package finished glass with protective materials to prevent damage in transit.
• Stage raw materials and load glass onto cutting tables for processing.
• Conduct visual quality checks to spot defects and ensure standards are met.
• Measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure and basic hand tools.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area and follow all safety protocols.
• Assist across production areas to meet daily and weekly output goals.

What You Need

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Capacity to lift 45 lbs routinely and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Comfort operating in a manufacturing setting and working with glass.
• Consistent attendance and dependable work habits.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
