Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and DEA regulations.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across a broad spectrum of medical issues.
- Assist with discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and follow-up care to ensure continuity of treatment.
Experience
- Proven experience working in outpatient primary care settings with a strong foundation in family medicine.
- Knowledge of CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate billing and documentation purposes.
