Job Title: Manufacturing Test Technician
Duration: 12 Months
Shift: 6:00AM-2:30PM PST Mon-Fri
Location: Tualatin, OR 97062
Pay Rate: $31.00/Hour on W2
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections and electrical testing of products in a restricted-access testing laboratory.
- Operate within a Lean one-piece flow environment, testing a variety of products at 208V–690V.
Use specialized testing equipment, including:
- Variac
- Hi-Pot / Ground Bond Tester
- Power Analyzer
- Oscilloscopes
- Current Clamps
- Digital Multimeters
- Record, document, and analyze test results to ensure products meet required specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose failed tests using appropriate tools and critical thinking techniques.
- Maintain and update the Test Report database with accurate and detailed records.
Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and pass defined specification ranges.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) during all testing activities.
Safety Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to injury-free operations.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines in the testing environment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to apply critical thinking in diagnosing issues.
- Good documentation and analytical skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical testing of products up to 690V.
- Associate’s degree in Electricity, Electronics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
