Job Title: Project Coordinator
Pay Rate: $55–$58/hour on W2, all-inclusive
Location: Richmond ,VA (Remote)
Contract Duration: 4 months of contract with possibility of extension.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support a portfolio of projects through procurement coordination, project documentation, budget tracking, vendor management, resource allocation, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting Project and Program Managers across multiple concurrent projects and be comfortable working with Statements of Work (SOWs), Purchase Orders, project financials, status reporting, and project governance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Statements of Work (SOWs) by coordinating with suppliers, Procurement teams, and Project Managers.
- Manage the creation, approval, and tracking of Purchase Orders (POs).
- Perform actual vs. budget tracking, including forecasting to support Project Managers and budget-cycle requirements.
- Maintain project status documents and reporting with guidance from the Project Manager.
- Update and maintain project resource allocations under the direction of the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, Procurement teams, Project Managers, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, dependencies, and status information.
- Support project financial tracking and reporting across multiple concurrent projects.
- Assist with contract administration, onboarding activities, and procurement-related processes.
- Support project governance, workflow management, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in Project and Program Operations or a related field.
- Strong experience supporting large portfolios of projects.
- Proven experience with Statements of Work (SOWs) and procurement activities.
- Experience managing or coordinating Purchase Orders from creation through approval and tracking.
- Strong knowledge of budget tracking, forecasting, and project financial management.
- Experience working with vendors, suppliers, Procurement teams, and Project Managers.
- Experience monitoring project budgets, schedules, dependencies, and resource allocations.
- Strong project documentation and status reporting experience.
- Experience working with SharePoint and other project management tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working within highly regulated or structured environments is preferred.
