Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Belvidere, NJ 07823
Duration: 7 months (with possible extensions)
Pay Rate: $33.00/hr. on W2 (no benefits)
Schedule: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking two Logistics Coordinators to manage domestic and international logistics operations in the USA. One resource will focus on U.S. inventory and logistics, while the second will oversee import/export activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate transportation of imported goods to destinations across North America.
- Work with customs brokers to ensure smooth delivery to warehouses and customers.
- Fulfill export orders from various DNP Production Sites (ANH) to global Affiliates (LATAM, APAC, EU, CHINA, NA).
- Serve as liaison between manufacturing sites, Quality, Shipping, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of import orders and communicate ETA to U.S. and Canadian stakeholders.
- Manage end-to-end order fulfillment, documentation, and shipping schedules.
- Resolve order management and customer service issues in collaboration with internal departments.
Duties Include
- Monitor import shipments in transit and update teams on delivery status.
- Track and trace cargo using existing and new platforms.
- Handle day-to-day relationships with customs brokers in the U.S. and Canada.
- Perform audits on customs entries and address discrepancies.
- Run daily open/export order reports and plan shipments accordingly.
- Update SAP (e.g., GI dates, OR/ZFD/CR/DR orders) and resolve urgent order changes.
- Use SAP tools: VA0A, ZOpenorder, MD04, MMBE, MB51.
- Research logistics complaints, claims, and regulatory documentation.
- Support invoice processing and import improvements (e.g., DICI program).
- Maintain compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) and Quality standards.
Education & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus on Logistics.
- Strong organizational, agility, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- SAP (R/3 and Business Warehouse) knowledge is a must.
- Familiar with warehousing, transportation, and Hazmat handling.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience
- 5 years in global logistics, preferably in the Animal Nutrition industry or similar sectors.
- Solid experience in import/export, warehousing, and high-standard distribution.
- Proven project management and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Experience with audits and regulatory authorities is highly valued.
