We are seeking an Associate Research Scientist – RNAi Formulations to join a multidisciplinary research team focused on non-viral delivery and formulation development for RNAi and oligonucleotide therapeutics.
This is a hands-on laboratory role focused on formulation preparation, analytical and biophysical characterization, developability assessments, troubleshooting, and stability evaluation of oligonucleotide formulations for injectable therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and characterize preclinical RNAi and oligonucleotide formulations across portfolio and platform projects.
- Perform hands-on formulation preparation, biophysical characterization, analytical testing, and data analysis.
- Develop and execute screening assays to evaluate formulation performance and developability.
- Assess critical formulation properties including solubility, viscosity, osmolality, stability, degradation, and aggregation.
- Support formulation optimization using high-throughput screening and Design of Experiments (DoE) approaches where applicable.
- Conduct long-term storage and stability studies for RNAi conjugates and oligonucleotide formulations.
- Troubleshoot formulation and characterization challenges, identify technical gaps, and propose practical solutions.
- Maintain accurate experimental documentation and communicate results through technical summaries, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in non-viral delivery, formulation, oligonucleotide chemistry, bioanalysis, PK, CMC, and related functions.
- Support project deliverables and timelines in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary research environment.
