i3 is seeking an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Software Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Portfolio Acquisition Executive Fires (PAE Fires) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO).

An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS. The ability to “move out” and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm; independent critical thinking; and a team attitude are very important. Experience in JIRA/Confluence is a plus.

Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

- Responsible for the prioritization and validation of the development software for the Infrastructure Services & Libraries (ISL-2) team.
- Review and understand Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms and providing guidance to the development team.
- Support the team in the development of acceptance criteria for software updates and be responsible for their verification.
- Work with Program Management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and sprint.
- Provide include technical briefings, demonstrations and advisement to leadership.
- Report on status; recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.
The candidate must
- Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset
- Be a US citizen
- Have a Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics
- Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above
