Housekeeper

Overview

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine surfaces
• Manage outdoor work tasks like patio cleaning, gardening assistance, or debris removal when required
• Conduct janitorial tasks including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies to uphold hygiene standards
• Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture or equipment safely and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a friendly demeanor

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including sanitation protocols and floor care methods
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively with proper lifting techniques
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
• Experience with laundry operations and carpet or upholstery cleaning preferred
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for tasks involving exterior maintenance or gardening support
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach to client interactions
