Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Clinician located in Tulare, CA at the county jails. The Clinician will be responsible for providing theraputic checkins with the incarcerated peraons, conducting mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with other healthcare providers including custody. The Clinician will also be involved in mental health education, community outreach, and ongoing case management.
Qualifications
- Skilled in conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment plans
- Ability to coordinate with other healthcare providers including cuatody
- Proven ability in mental health education and community outreach
- Ongoing case management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Licensed or license-eligible in the state of California
- Experience working with at-risk populations is a plus
