Role Overview
This position supports the Competitive Transmission Projects team by coordinating scope-of-work activities and supporting Project Managers. Under general supervision, the role performs scheduling and/or commodity tracking functions for major projects. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules using Primavera P6, supporting schedule updates, and providing accurate reporting to project teams.
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
Define activities, durations, work sequences, and logic to develop accurate scope-of-work plans
Identify and incorporate key milestones and ensure all deliverables are captured in the schedule
Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using Primavera P6
Lead or support schedule review meetings and document updates, action items, and outcomes
Provide schedule status updates, identifying risks, critical paths, and potential impacts to timelines
Communicate schedule information clearly with project stakeholders
Support adherence to project management standards and governance processes
Assist with system updates, reporting, and maintaining accurate schedule data
Provide summary-level reporting and support project teams with ongoing scheduling needs
Minimum Requirements
Education
Associate degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or
Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience
Preferred fields of study include Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or Project Management
Experience
Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling is required
Scheduling Experience In Utilities Or Construction Management Is Preferred
Background in project planning, operations, cost tracking, forecasting, budgeting, or construction is preferred
Understanding of utility operations and work processes is a plus
Other Requirements
Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively
Self-motivated and able to work independently under general supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
