This position is responsible for assisting with the safe and reliable operation of the electric distribution system. Job responsibilities include:
- Tracking field crews and distribution system work
- Dispatching service personnel during outages and emergencies
- Operating company communication equipment
- Coordinating the safe restoration of power
- Authorizing the energizing and restoration of distribution facilities
- Maintaining accurate outage and system records
- Tracking abnormal or defective equipment
- Following company safety, health, and operating procedures
- Communicating and coordinating multiple activities during system emergencies
