Job Description:
Conducts training and provides training for a variety of internal and external customers
*Would be open to discussing part-time or full-time
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external training on a variety of safety topics including HAZWOPER 24-hr and 40-hr and 8-hr refreshers, 10 and 30 hour OSHA training for General Industry and Construction, etc.
- Develop and update training materials as needed
- Operate motor vehicles safely and in accordance with applicable regulations
- Provide additional support as needed
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in related field AND 3 years experience in safety field; OR 5 years experience in the safety field
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and laws and KDHE regulations
- Excellent organization, problem-solving and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills, particularly utilizing Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service orientation
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- 40-hour HAZWOPER training
