Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Technician for the night shift, working from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This role involves performing comprehensive cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional cleaning services in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor polishers to maintain flooring quality.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed, including trash removal and surface sanitation.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and other floor care procedures.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting repair needs.
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards and report any issues or damages promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures and industrial cleaning practices.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a night shift environment.
