Responsibilities
- Provide cleaning support across multiple client locations, adapting to different site requirements
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom sanitation
- Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers
- Handle chemical agents safely in accordance with safety protocols and handling procedures
- Assist with custodial tasks such as floor care, buffing, and light maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety practices during heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities while adhering to sanitation standards and safety regulations
- Support facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or painting preparations
- Follow established safety protocols during chemical handling and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure service expectations are met
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and floor care procedures
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely and follow chemical handling safety procedures
- Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Experience with commercial cleaning environments preferred
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as painting or porter duties
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
