What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Operations position at Integrated Restoration Acquisitions LLC?
When multiple teams move in different directions, are you the one who brings them back into alignment? Do you instinctively see where people, processes, and priorities break down and quickly move to correct them? When pressure builds and complexity increases, are you the person others rely on to create clarity and drive execution? If you are wired to integrate operations and hold the line when it matters most, Integrated Restoration is looking for you.
Integrated Restoration is a 26-year-old Cleveland restoration company specializing in water, fire, mold, and full reconstruction. We have a growing team and a strong active backlog. We are scaling aggressively and we need an operator who can own the engine that drives us to the next level. Not someone who manages tasks. Someone who builds and runs a division, hires talent, drives margin, holds people accountable, and makes decisions without being asked.
This role is tactical first. You will be in the operation, not above it. You will own the machine, fix what is broken, build what is missing, and develop the team that runs it. Strategy comes later, and it comes to the people who earn it by executing at a high level. If that is the kind of work that gets you out of bed in the morning, read on.
Who We Are
At Integrated Restoration, we don't just restore properties. We restore peace of mind. Our 24/7 services help homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients recover quickly and confidently from water, fire, mold, and structural damage across Greater Cleveland.
We are built on five core values:
• Communication - Clear, early, and often
• Learning - Constant improvement at every level
• Excellence - Every job, every client, every time
• Accountability - Owning outcomes, not deflecting them
• Reliability - We do what we say
We operate with an ownership mentality. When something goes wrong, we ask what we can fix, not who to blame. We celebrate wins loudly and learn from losses honestly. That is the culture you would be leading.
What You'll Own
• Day-to-day performance across all field divisions: Water Mitigation, Reconstruction, and Contents
• Direct accountability for gross margin by job and by division every week
• All field hiring source, interview, close, and onboard talent across all divisions
• Division manager development through structured 1:1s, performance conversations, and defined growth paths
• Cross-department coordination to ensure seamless handoffs between Mitigation, BD, Admin, and field

• Weekly operational reporting to the President covering backlog, margin, DSO, and pipeline
• One rebuild project per quarter: identify a process, system, or workflow that needs fixing and fix it
What Does Success Look Like?
• By day 30: You know every PM, every active job, and every open gap in the operation
• By day 60: Weekly huddles are running, one hire is in process, backlog is moving
• By day 90: You are sending the President the weekly financial report, unprompted
• By year one: Division managers are running their teams. You are running the business. The President is working on it
• Longer term: The operation runs without you in every detail. You have earned the strategic seat, and the General Manager title that comes with it as IR scales
What We Offer
• Base salary $90,000 to $100,000 depending on experience
• Annual bonus up to $20,000, tied to revenue and gross margin targets

• You have owned a division with real revenue accountability, $3M or more annually
• You have hired, developed, and let go of people
• You know Xactimate, DASH, XactAnalysis, and how insurance restoration actually works
• You are energized by execution, not just ideas and you get your hands in it and make it work
• You think in systems. You don't just fix problems. You build the process that prevents them
• You communicate with directness. No ambiguity, no passive follow-through, no hiding behind email
• You hold yourself to a standard before anyone else has to ask
