Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: 10-Hour Day Shifts
Pay Rates:
- Local: $63/hr (W2)
- Travel: $2,700/week
Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations under the direction of a physician to assist in identifying abnormalities and supporting accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations according to department protocols and physician orders.
- Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Prepare and educate patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and proper identification procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to infection control standards.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment effectively.
- Assist with vascular procedures as required.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and students to support quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.
- RDMS (BR) – ARDMS Required
