Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
Location: Vacaville, CA 95688
Duration: 3 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: 12-Hour Shifts – Days/Nights
Compensation:
- Local Pay: $78/hr
- Travel Pay: $3,200/weekly
Position Overview:
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced critical care environment. The role requires strong clinical assessment skills, advanced critical thinking, and the ability to make timely decisions while managing complex patient conditions and emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate changes in patient conditions
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage critical care interventions
- Operate and manage advanced medical equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and IV drips
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies and changes in patient status
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established nursing protocols
- Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and recovery plans
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California – Required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) – Required
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience – Required
