Location: Richmond, VA 23219
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Strong possibility of extension)
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a strong background in Java, Angular, AWS Cloud, and Microservices to join a fast-paced Agile development team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise applications built on modern cloud technologies.
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience with Core Java
- Hands-on experience with Python and Node.js
- Angular 8 (Angular, TypeScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS)
- Spring Boot, Hibernate, J2EE, Maven
- REST APIs, Microservices, DevSecOps
- SQL, JUnit, JAXB, JSON, XML, Log4j2
- AWS Cloud (Serverless, Containers, RDS, Storage, Migration Services)
- Cloud architecture and reusable cloud patterns
- Unit Testing (Jest, Karma, Jasmine)
- Agile/Scrum development experience
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications using Java, Angular, and AWS Cloud
- Develop and support RESTful APIs and Microservices
- Build scalable cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS technologies
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and sprint planning
- Troubleshoot production issues and recommend technical improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to process improvements
