We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Coding Auditor to review and validate inpatient medical coding for accuracy, compliance, and proper MS-DRG assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS guidelines, DRG validation, and acute care hospital coding practices.
Responsibilities
- Audit inpatient coding for accuracy and completeness
- Identify coding errors, missed diagnoses, or incorrect DRGs
- Ensure compliance with CMS, payer, and AHIMA/AAPC guidelines
- Provide feedback and education to inpatient coders
Certificates:
- RHIT
- AHIMA
- AAPC-CRC
Experience:
- Strong inpatient coding experience.
Salary : $35 - $38
