Job Title: EEO Investigator
Location: New York, NY 10041
Duration: 2 months of Contract (Possible extensions or FT Conversions)
Shift: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Schedule: 5 days/week, 7.5 hrs/day, 37.5 hrs/week
Pay Range: $60 to $65/hr. on W2
Schedule Notes:
- Must be familiar with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws
- EEO Investigator experience handling workplace discrimination and harassment cases
- Must be able to report to various healthcare facilities throughout New York City as needed
- Work Setting: Office of Legal Affairs / Equal Opportunity
Required Skills & Experience
- 4 years of experience conducting EEO-related investigations
- Experience investigating workplace discrimination and harassment complaints
- Strong investigative skills
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly synthesize information and formulate recommendations considering risks, benefits, and alternative perspectives
- Strong people skills with the ability to effectively navigate a large organizational structure
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare/hospital setting
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws
- MS Office Suite proficiency
- Internal investigation experience
Education
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred
- Juris Doctor (JD)
Job Summary
Through the supervised efforts of the Office of Legal Affairs, the responsibilities of the EEO Investigator include:
- Investigating internal complaints of discrimination, including claims of sexual harassment, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws
- Providing an internal avenue of redress through the investigation and resolution of complaints of unlawful employment discrimination and harassment
- Assisting with other assignments and special projects as required
Duties
- Investigate internal complaints of discrimination and harassment

- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws
- Conduct investigations and resolve complaints of unlawful employment discrimination and harassment
- Support the Office of EEO across various healthcare facilities throughout New York City
- Assist with special projects and additional assignments as required
Salary : $60 - $65
