Job Title: Surgical Tech
Location: Summit, NJ - 07901
Initial Duration: 3 Months (High possibilities of Extension)

Shift: 11 AM – 12 AM

Pay Range:
Local Pay: $42 - $45/hr. on w2

Note:

• You can refer your friends or colleagues for this role or any other RN role, we do offer a referral bonus of $750.
• Stipend is also provided to the candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility
• Other locations available in NJ.
• Local/Travel Contracts available in multiple departments in all states.

Job Summary:

• Assist in the care of the surgical patient.
• Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
• He/she understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon.
• He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.
• Follows instructions of Physicians and RN closely, adhering to established hospital policies related to the Operating Room.
• Maintains a Safe Environment: Practices Standard Precautions always.
• Maintains a safe environment in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory agencies.

Required Education:

• High School Graduate or GED. Graduate from an accredited program.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Certified Surgical Technician (CST)
• BLS AHA
