Job Title: Cath Lab Tech
Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601 & Pompton Plains, NJ 07444
Duration: 3 Months Contract (High possibilities of Extension)
Schedule: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. 4x10s. No Weekends. No On-Call
Pay Range: $75 - $80/hr. on W2 Highly Negotiable Pay Rate
Note:
- STIPEND IS ALSO PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY
- REFERRAL BONUS ON EACH SUCCESFUL REFERRAL
Job Summary:
- Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.
- Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data.
- Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure
- Assess and manage access site and inform physician.
- Adhere to on call protocol for Cath lab.
- Prepare patient for procedures.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Skills & Licenses:
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist
- Proficient in Cardiac Cath. CCL Scrub experience required. Peripheral/neuro experience would be a plus but not required.
- Must have 2 years prior experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital.
- 6-12 months during CVT accredited program or 2 years in another cardiac vascular laboratory.
- Familiarity with computers, hemodynamic monitoring and sterile operative techniques.
