We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and organized Medical Office Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to provide excellent support to our team and ensure a welcoming, professional experience for our patients.
Medical Assistants are encouraged to apply. This is primarily an administrative/reception position, with limited clinical responsibilities, including obtaining blood pressure and other vital signs and performing EKGs. It is an excellent opportunity for an MA who enjoys patient interaction and clinical tasks but is also interested in a strong administrative role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients
- Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
- Collect payments and verify insurance eligibility
- Monitor patient balances and assist with collections
- Obtain insurance referrals and patient records as needed
- Monitor patient portal messages and incoming faxes
- Provide general administrative support for our providers and clinical team
- Perform EKGs and blood pressure/vital sign checks as needed (Current MA certification needed)
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Assist with other office duties as needed

- Medical office administrative experience preferred
- Medical Assistant experience welcome and encouraged
- Comfortable working in a busy medical office and interacting with patients throughout the day
Required Skills:
- Previous medical office experience
- Proficient with computers and able to learn new software, including EHR and scheduling systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Previous experience performing EKGs (Current MA certification required)
