What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Project Manager position at Integrated Media Systems?
Integrated Media Systems is hiring a hands-on Field Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial technology projects from handoff through completion. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Ashburn, with regular travel to local job sites. Some projects may occasionally require travel to job sites approximately 3 to 3.5 hours from Ashburn.
Responsibilities
- Visit job sites to verify readiness, progress, quality, and next steps.
- Build and maintain project schedules and customer commitments.
- Coordinate clients, technicians, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Identify risks early and communicate changes or delays clearly.
- Track open items, change requests, punch lists, and project closeout.
- Maintain accurate project records and status updates.
Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple active projects and priorities.
- Strong client communication, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to read plans, scopes, proposals, or construction documents.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
- Comfortable working in the field and traveling to job sites, including occasional longer-distance trips.
- Able to pass a background check.
Experience in audio/video, security, low-voltage systems, electrical work, construction, or another field-service business is preferred. Familiarity with D-Tools or similar project software is a plus.
Pay: $37.00 - $45.00 per hour
