Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) plays a critical role in driving financial strategy, decision support, and operational performance within a growing Home Health and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company. Reporting directly to the VP of FP&A, this position manages a team of analysts and works cross-functionally to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, team leadership experience, and a deep understanding of healthcare finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working collaboratively with department leaders and executive management.
- Analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business scenarios, capital investments, and profitability of service lines including home health and DME.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reports for executive leadership, including KPI dashboards, margin analysis, and operational metrics (e.g., cost per visit, DME utilization).
- Monitor reimbursement trends and payer mix impacts in both the home health and DME sectors.
- Partner with accounting, billing, operations, and compliance teams to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and cost allocation.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts; foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Assist in strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, expansions, and service line growth opportunities through robust financial modeling and due diligence.
- Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems and business intelligence tools.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Prior experience in home health, and/or durable medical equipment (DME) preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Understanding of healthcare reimbursement, cost accounting, and payer dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present findings to executives.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Office setting or remote work environment.
- Some travel may be required to company sites or regional operations.
