What will you be doing:
The Intake Specialist is responsible for processing incoming referrals from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, primary care providers (PCPs), and specialists. This position ensures the verification of insurance eligibility for services including nursing, medication, and equipment needed for patients in the home setting.
What will you need to succeed:
- Effective verbal and written communication skill
- 1 Year of Customer Service Experience
- Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
- Certification a plus
