About Us

Integrated Health Centers of West Virginia (IHCWV) is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving communities across Doddridge, Pleasants, Ritchie, and Wood counties. We provide primary care, behavioral health, telehealth, and school-based health services to our communities. Join a mission-driven team dedicated to improving health outcomes and expanding access to quality care.

About the Role

IHCWV is seeking a Quality Improvement and Data Analyst to support our organization's efforts to enhance care through quality initiatives. In this role, you'll turn data into action — analyzing trends, improving processes, and helping shape policy that strengthens service delivery, promotes community inclusion, and drives better outcomes for the patients we serve.

What You'll Do

Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting

  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze organizational data to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Support quality improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) — including preventative screening rates, chronic disease management, and patient satisfaction
  • Build clear data visualizations and reports to support leadership decision-making
  • Improve data quality, write queries against structured and unstructured data, and support data governance
  • Support accurate, timely completion of state, federal, payer, and grant-related quality reporting (HRSA, Medicaid, SAMHSA)
  • Analyze trends to identify risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for proactive intervention
  • Help maintain dashboards for real-time monitoring of program outcomes

Process and Quality Improvement

  • Develop workflows that support data-driven decisions and operational efficiency
  • Train and guide staff on quality standards, data management, and population health
  • Support improvement planning — assessments, timelines, and deliverables
  • Incorporate person- and family-centered practices through outcome evaluation and feedback
  • Apply quality improvement methodologies such as PDSA cycles, root cause analysis, and process mapping
  • Partner with clinical and administrative teams to improve service delivery
  • Monitor adherence to clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices
  • Draft and revise quality-related policies, procedures, workflows, and data definitions

Collaboration and Support

  • Participate in committees and workgroups focused on quality initiatives
  • Align data-driven strategies with organizational goals across programs
  • Support grant reporting and program evaluation
  • Conduct special projects as assigned by the Chief Quality Officer
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of protected health information in accordance with HIPAA

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science or a health-related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in healthcare, public health, human services, data analysis, or project management preferred
  • Familiarity with UDS, HEDIS, NQF, or other healthcare quality measures preferred
  • Experience extracting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on data; qualitative and quantitative research experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint); EMR experience preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively, meet deadlines, and take a project from concept to execution
