What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracted Parenting/ Life Skills Educator, and a Supervised Visitation Transporter/ Coordinator position at Integrated Family Services, LLC?
We are seeking dedicated 1099 SNS Contractors to provide supervised visitation, parenting education, adult life skills, and transportation services to families involved with Child Protective Services (CPS) throughout Southern West Virginia. As the business owner, I’m looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who are committed to supporting vulnerable families working toward family preservation, foster care transition, reunification and aftercare services.
Responsibilities include: facilitating safe and structured supervised visitation between children and their caregivers; modeling healthy parent–child interactions; teaching evidence-based parenting skills; providing adult life-skills coaching in areas such as budgeting, home organization, communication, and employment readiness; offering safe, dependable transportation for appointments and services; maintaining accurate documentation; and communicating professionally with CPS workers and agency staff. Contractors follow trauma-informed, strengths-based practices and uphold confidentiality and safety at all times.
Ideal candidates have experience working with families, children, CPS cases, or human services. Strong communication, problem-solving, and boundary-setting skills are essential. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, reliable insured vehicle, clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. A High School Diploma is required for paraprofessional positions; a human services or social work experience is required for professional positions.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role, meaning you manage your own taxes, insurance, and schedule. Compensation is paid per service unit, and contractors have flexibility in setting their availability based on agency and family needs.
