Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair ventilation, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment
- Identify maintenance risks and communicate findings promptly
- Respond to customer questions and provide professional, courteous support
- Follow all service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements
- Perform emergency repairs efficiently and safely
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
- Five years of technical training or equivalent HVACR work experience
- Strong understanding of HVACR systems and industry fundamentals
- Control system knowledge is beneficial, but not required
- OSHA 10-hour Safety Training Certificate (or completion within 12 months of hire)
- Knowledge of safety requirements for high/low-pressure gases, electricity, and hazardous materials
- Valid Class E driver's license with clean driving record
- Universal technician certification (per 40 CFR part 82, subpart F)
- Ability to lift/carry 80 pounds and climb ladders carrying 50 pounds
- Ability to work on rooftops and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Punctual, reliable, and strong attendance habits
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Customer-service mindset and ability to build positive relationships
