Pay: Base Rate $21.50 Lead Differential $1.00 Shift Differential $2.00 = Total Rate of Pay $24.50 per Hour
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Function as the team lead when supervisor is not present by answering employee questions, troubleshooting problems, and promoting efficient operations.
- Transports product to and from designated areas in the facility
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
- Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
- Checking loads are secure
- Stacking empty pallets
- Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
- Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
- Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Dumping materials into machine hoppers
Qualifications
- Ability to represent Dart in a professional and positive manner
- Understanding of basics operations and ability to explain to employees
- Ability to mentor and coach employees
- Ability to foster a team oriented, respectful and productive work environment
