I am working with Signature Communications (SIGCOM). They are a family-owned fire alarm, life safety, and communications contractor headquartered in Loveland, Colorado. The company specializes in fire alarm systems, security systems, CCTV, access control, nurse call systems, and communication infrastructures. Responsibilities
- The Installation Technician is responsible for installing, testing, programming, and servicing low-voltage systems, including fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, and communication systems. This role works closely with project managers and field supervisors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and according to specifications.
- Pull cable and wire throughout commercial buildings.
- Install fire alarm, access control, CCTV, security, and communication devices.
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
- Program and test equipment as required.
- Understand and execute the project scope of work.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of tools and materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Attend training and certification programs.
- Provide excellent customer service on job sites.
- Travel to project locations as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in various construction environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, tablets, mobile apps).
- Strong work ethic and integrity.
Preferred:
- Experience with fire alarm and security systems.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
- Electrical or construction experience.
- NICET certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
