Position Overview
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for directing and overseeing all HR functions within the organization. This role manages compensation and benefits administration, leads talent acquisition and onboarding efforts, ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws, and oversees employee relations, investigations, discipline, and terminations. The HR Manager also develops and delivers employee training and development programs, maintains updated and accurate employee records, and partners with leadership to create a culture that supports organizational growth and retention.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, with proven experience in HR software systems and a strong working knowledge of a broad range of HR practices. Professional judgment, discretion, and sensitivity to confidential matters are critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all HR functions across the organization.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs.
- Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and policies.
- Handle employee relations, investigations, discipline, and terminations.
- Develop and implement training and leadership programs.
- Maintain accurate HR records, certifications, and documentation.
- Advise leadership on HR strategy and performance.
- Coach managers on employee relations and team development.
- Oversee employee recognition and appreciation programs.
- Manage Worker’s Compensation reporting, claims, and communications.
Performance Objectives
1. Conduct internal audit and review of all HR practices, workflows, and records.
2. Review and update Employee Handbook for 2026.
3. Establish baseline turnover rate and target rate.
4. Standardize all job descriptions and develop SOP library for HR processes
5. Design and launch a company-wide performance management system
6. Design, develop, and roll out a company intranet/SharePoint site
7. Launch a formal management development program
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in HRIS/HR software (Rippling, preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational initiatives and deliver measurable results.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
